Does your dog fit us?
Your Responsibilities
I require certain things of dog owners before pets are accepted into our program. For example:
- Dogs must be able to retrieve, and be house broken.
- I ask that you provide us with verification of the dog’s health, i.e., that they are current with all shots and flea and tick treatments.
- I reserve the right to refuse any animal that is aggressive and dangerous to other dogs or people.
- Puppies over four months old are always welcome.
- I ask that you provide us with contact information, so that I may reach you in the event of an emergency.
- Dogs must be insured and registered, and be micro chipped for identification.
- Emergency contact information must be provided to the representatives of Fit Dogs.
The Responsibilities I have at Fit Dogs
- I take each prospective boarding dog for a walk first, to ensure the dog passes all requirements. This affords me the opportunity to get to know your pet, and they get to know me, too.
- I am fully insured, and ask that you give me leeway by a few minutes during drop offs and pickups, and that I can enter your home, if necessary. You will be notified in advance if this is necessary.
- I ask that contact information on your dog’s veterinarian is provided. In case of an emergency or accident, if I cannot contact a dog’s owner, having this information is very helpful. All subsequent vet bills are of course the responsibility of the owner.
- Fit Dogs is fully insured for liability and other coverage.
Terms & Conditions
- I reserve the right to refuse admission of any dog that is aggressive, dangerous or unsocialized. Dogs who demonstrate these behaviours are often not suited to day care environments.
- If you need my services once, I accept payments in cash or bank transfers on the day the day care is provided.
- On going, regular customers can pay monthly, by cash or bank transfer.
When you need care for your dog, I hope you will consider Fit Dogs for his next day care experience.
I provide love, play, nourishment and exercise to all our dogs, so they come home to you happy, healthy and full of energy.
