About me
Ever since I was a child, I have loved animals – dogs, in particular. Pets have been profoundly important to me all my life, and owning dogs has been rewarding for me in countless ways. Dogs have taught me as much as I have ever taught them! Patience, kindness, empathy… I’ve learned these things throughout my life by interacting with dogs.
Although I had a lengthy and rewarding professional career, I reached a point at which it became less satisfying, and I sought a change in direction. When I moved to Switzerland in 2019, I decided to follow a new direction, and let my heart impact my choice of a new kind of work. I knew I could combine the skills learned in my previous career with all I had learned dealing with dogs throughout my life, and soon I decided to have my own business as a professional dog walker.
But dogs need more than daily exercise and walks around the neighborhood. They need to learn how to develop their instincts and how to behave in a small pack – after all, dogs are pack animals.
I have completed a certified Swiss program (FBA course) that makes me a professional dog caregiver and I am certified as a dog trainer by ENCI (The Italian Kennel Club).I am also qualified for the mandatory courses in the canton of Zurich for puppies and young dogs.
End…Many cool courses for puppies and adults dogs will be starting in March 2023!
These qualifications, together with my personal experience, give me the professional skills needed to deal with your dogs in a loving and compassionate way. Also, I have a large dog of my own, a female Dobermann and she is demanding, so I get to practice my knowledge and skills every day with her!
I am multi-lingual and speak Italian, English, French, Spanish, and now German.
